At 7.30pm last night, 23rd January 2004 , Mario van Rooy a.k.a. Mr. Devious tragically died from a fatal stab wound in a tussle with a small gang who assaulted his father.

Mr. Devious was one of the most promising and most influential mc's out of South Africa and we at africanhiphop.com would like to send our deepest condolences to the Van Rooy family.

Mr. Devious leaves behind a wife and two daughters.

Man Devious I aint ever gonna forget you , or the heated tracks we made while you where out here, I know you readin this too! Im Gonna miss you forever, And I pray that peoples out in Capetown Will learn from this Loss!

could anyone post a link to mr. devious 's music ? cuz i havn't yet heard songs from this cat

anyway, rest in peace mr.devious ! lots of respect (as you seemed to be really a big of an influence to the game)
