 I might as well get on this too...It seems like that last line just captivates everyone including me. Real Nice job. :D

I write to educate the masses

of the mis-information they recieve in classes

hoping that my word will influence and inspire

another unborn poet. With my spark I light your fire.

I write because verbally I may make no sense

but when its all on on paper, it's hard for you to take it out of context.

Read between the lines. Decipher the meaning with me.

The solution lay infront of you like the code of DaVinci.

I write because when my soul cries, I want my tears to flow on paper.

Let all the painfulness and angstfulness evaporate like water vapor.

And when my work is done I am able to reflect on the lyrics.

I write to rejuvinate my mind, body, and spirit.

Whoooo. I was about to get carried away LOL. But thank you for inspiring me to write that.

:s hock: :s hock: how does one even follow that?.....that was beautiful!!.....lemme try and add something....

WHY DO I WRITE????

i write because it is the vessel thru which i navigate these treacherous waters,

it is my personal anchor which prevents me from drowning,

it is my stability, a choice outlet for my creativity,

it is what makes me, it is who i am,

picture me, writing to dim candle-light, pen in my right hand,

freeze-frame this image, transmit it to your third-eye,

this ink cartridge is my life-line, this is how i survive,

and when every single drop of ink is gone, i have no reason to live--- i might as well die.......

like rain-heavy clouds bursting open to release their watery burden

i write to unleash the consuming fire deep within my soul

spitting out the words as they come, with all the passion

and afterwards... calmness wash over me and i feel sated

Hello.

I am like God and i ressurect the buried. :-)

Sorry all. I just went through the old poems relishing history in the making (or in the servers).

Very inspiring thoughts and expressions as to why we write.

Lots of love and mad respect.

I write for time because when the time comes,

Time will write for me...

A write because writing is an art

And art is the proof of immortality
