Have you seen my pad and pen?

- Well, first of all, it's not just a pad...

My "Sweetums"

In fact, in a soft pastel-orange memoir.

Cherry-blue daises has she for eyes

And the word "love", in violet italic, bends and curves to pronounce

her bubbly smile.

Within, her pages are still smooth and waxen beneath

frantic, chasing ink and the running lines that beckon its stains

with provoking impassivity.

But my, I haven't seen her in so long...

The thought just occured to me yesterday,

Right after I finally drew back my curtains...

- I know!

-Oh, it was an eye-full of lovely!

That's all the description I can muster up for the moment,

Although I'm sure you can almost imagine how thrilling it all was.

For one who's been a stranger to reality for so long, I...

- Oh, how?

Well, as the folklores of human spirit and emotion go,

It took my personal impression of rock-bottom, to stir me from

The trance of sore memories and troubled dreams...

- No, 'nightmares' is too designating a word; it robs the experience

of its dark lustre and discordant animation:

Sunny willows and weeping flowers,

Under a sky of grey-lined silver clouds...No crowds... Just lil' old me,

On a cushion of cotton-soft grass, lying in an odd crescent angle of aloof bewilderment.

I still can't make my mind up about some of the tiny detail actually,

But something must be said about the brilliance of that sky...

It was unmistakable!

- A dizzying, unsteady heaven set as the backdrop, against

mesmeric moonshine.

- Who?

-The pen? Oh, him...

I suppose if you found him too that would be wonderful,

And may perhaps even complete me...

He's not all that important..

- Well I suppose he is,

In that he has etched a contribution to Sweetums's emotional content too.

But on that bittersweet note,

He's not true to type or consistency.

And he's not the only one;

many are found and lost along the way, do their piece-plus-some

to appease, then with ease they vanish

or are nicked away.

Ah, novelty..

Anyway, I wanted to share my news with Sweetums...

But she's nowhere to be found...

Or at least i am.

Aay, this is soooo making me feel and look gay. Farking blushing my arse off! LOL!

This is indeed a nice imaginative piece. Reminds me of this dude in Vaal that goes by the name Romeo! He had a more similar piece, comparison between the pen and a pad! Nice indeed...

The purple typing always gives me and image of you as this sweet cute little person and your style of writing just tells me that you are filled with love, to the brim.

I love your concept, sweetie, and it was well executed.

I love creative people. Keep inspiring.

this is a very creative piece. I like the whole conversation thing, I can just imagine u walking down the street, stopping total strangers, reciting this poem, cuz you're looking for your pen and pad. people would probably think that you're crazy, but poets always are hahahaha

very sweet, creative, imaginary piece. and I gotta cosign with nevilbee on the purple writing thingy :)
